Alfred's Special Place is about the sanctuary you create in the life of an animal in need.  You create this sanctuary in your heart and through your actions.  While you may not be in a position to take in a donkey, you may be able to find a way to help one in need through sharing this book and through donating to a donkey sanctuary.
